About 16th Street Auto Body: Located in Sacramento, California

When I was in high school, I wanted to be an auto shop teacher. In the early 1990’s I realized many of the shop classes were being canceled and so was the need for shop teachers. That’s when I opened my own shop. I have an industrial arts degree from Humboldt State. I enjoy my wife Julie of seven years and my two children.
I enjoy being able to fix cars. It is a way to help people, especially today when new cars are a big expense.

I have a passion for old cars and own a red Ford Cobra.

Lead Estimator and Customer Service Manager. I have lived in Sacramento for two years. I truly enjoy working here. It is refreshing to see how big Clark is on customer service and how important it is to keep the customer happy. Clark gives me the freedom to take care of the customer.
I take pride in walking my customers through the car repair process. I explain each step and why it is necessary. This provides a level of comfort and trust in our customers.

I have worked here for four years. I moved to Sacramento in 1982. I have always enjoyed fixing things. I am the third generationto repair cars. Both my grandfather and father worked on cars. My grandfather’s shop was called Cuilla Brothers and it opened in 1926.
I like the big hits because they are a challenge. I consider myself a craftsman and my goal is to make the car look like new. I treat each car as if it were my own. I don’t take shortcuts or the cheapest route. I think what I would want if the car belonged to me.

Born and raised in Sacramento, I have worked here a little over three years. I am the gopher; I do a little bit of everything. I am certified in structural molding. I attended Wyotech, which provides repair training in automotive technology.
My favorite car is the 1971 Chevy Nova. It has a great body style. I also like the black DeLorean in “Back to the Future”.

I typically work on Volkswagens, I love them. I do every part of the bodywork except paint. I am from the Ukraine and moved here when I was 10-years-old. My dad had a shop and I used to help him work on the cars. On the side, my hobby is modifying racecars.
